APPLY for a booth at the Acton Children's Business Fair!
Saturday, March 2nd from 10am-1pm, 2019.
(February 18th application deadline or until booth's run out)
*No more than 3 participants per business
*In lieu of an application fee, all ACCEPTED business ideas will need to pay a participation fee of $20 (due at check in, before booth set up).
*Please submit by the February 19th deadline (spots are considered on a first come first serve basis until all booths are full)
How will the competition be judged? It will be judged in THREE age categories: Ages 6- 9, 10-12 and 13-16. If children of different age groups prepare a booth together, they will be judged in the age group of the oldest participant.
What are the rules? This event is designed to give children the experience of selling a product or service. If a parent is found selling or promoting a child’s product or service, their child’s business will be disqualified from the competition.Parents of younger children may sit in the booth, but the children should be responsible for set up, customer interaction, and sales.Parents may help their child fill out the application, but we expect the children to do as much as possible by themselves.
